Together for greater sustainability

Sustainable management is the guiding principle in the organisation and implementation of the world's largest agricultural fair. To this end, DLG, as the organiser of AGRITECHNICA, relies on climate, environment and resource-friendly measures in its cooperation with partners, exhibitors and visitors. The focus is on energy, waste management, logistics, mobility and the catering trade.

With the support of the climate forest project "We Reforest", we also offer exhibitors and visitors new opportunities to improve their ecological footprint.

"WeReforest" climate forest project

Thanks to the new project initiated from the DLG, exhibitors and visitors have the opportunity to actively support forest owners in the professional reforestation of their forest areas in Germany. The aim is to establish climate-stable, sustainable mixed deciduous and coniferous forests.

  • To compensate for the climate and environmental impact caused by the organisation, travel and participation, voluntary donations can be made to support CO2-reducing forestry projects in Germany.
  • The DLG is sponsoring the "WeReforest" project with 1 euro per visitor ticket sold and 0.50 euro per regular square metre of exhibition space sold at AGRITECHNICA.
