Conditions for participation
For national and international start-ups that are less than ten years old and have fewer than 50 employees. The applicable EU definition of a small company must be met (fewer than 50 employees and an annual balance sheet total or annual turnover of no more than ten million euros).

At AGRITECHNICA 2023 AGICU UG presented its vision for the first time: an intelligent field robot that is in no way inferior to a conventional tractor. Modular in design, equipped with front and rear power lift, PTO shafts and the centerpiece of our development - a hydrogen-electric drive system. Fully autonomous, quiet and emission-free.
At that time, we were part of the ‘agrifood start-ups’ area - a platform that offers young companies a stage and makes innovations visible. This participation was a decisive milestone for us: the direct feedback from trade visitors, farmers and partners as well as the attention from the trade press helped us to drive our development forward in a targeted manner. The dialogue with other start-ups and established companies led to collaborations that made our technology ready for the market more quickly. This direct exchange is not only strategically valuable, but also at the heart of our philosophy: innovation is created through dialogue.
This year, we are taking the next big step: out of the start-up area and into the large halls of AGRITECHNICA 2025. We are presenting our finished product - the production-ready AGICU field robot, ready for real use in the field.
Our autonomous platform is not only powerful, but also intelligent: attachments are automatically recognized, machine parameters are adjusted and relevant work data is documented. In this way, we are not only creating an alternative to the classic tractor, but also a future-orientated overall system for efficient, sustainable agriculture.
We look back with pride on our journey since 2023 - and look forward to showing in 2025 what is possible in two years with a clear vision and a lot of commitment. At the last Agritechnica 2023, we presented the concept ‘ISO Farm Research - Automation of Onfarm Trials’ together with our partners Amazone, the Faculty of Agriculture at Kiel University of Applied Sciences led by Prof Yves Reckleben, Hanse-Agro, Geokonzept, EXA Computing GmbH and EXAgT GmbH and were honoured with the DLG Agrifuture Concept Winner Award. This brought us to our first stand appearance at Amazone and was the foundation stone for the successful founding of AgDoIT GmbH. We will be launching the ISO Farm Research software platform for the first time at AGRITECHNICA 2025 and presenting it to a broad global audience.
ISO Farm Research is a manufacturer-neutral, innovative software that automates and simplifies practical agricultural trials. We help farmers to make their farms more efficient, sustainable and competitive with results from their own practice. We also provide a tool for direct evidence-based collaboration between start-ups and practitioners.
We at AgDoIT are thus intelligently combining the AGRITECHNICA 2025 theme of ‘Touch smart efficiency’ and the leitmotif of the international startup scene meeting place ‘Shape the future for agriculture’.
