AGDW - Die Waldeigentümer represents the interests of private, communal and corporate forests to the German Bundestag and the Bundesrat, ministries, the economy, science and in committees of other associations. The representation of interests takes place predominantly on a national level, but also on a European and international level. The association is also active in numerous institutions. The forest owners represent European and international forest policy primarily as a member of the Central Association of European Forest Owners CEPF and the International Alliance for Family Forestry IFFA.
Bitkom is a network of more than 2,000 member companies from the digital media, network economy and digital economy sectors. In twelve committees from the areas of politics, business and society, companies and experts network and develop projects with the aim of promoting and strengthening digitisation in Germany. This results in topics such as infrastructure for energy, transport and trade, data-driven business and platform models, protection and security.
A world task-force on the strategies for the development of agricultural mechanisation
The Club of Bologna is a free association founded by FederUnacoma under the auspices of CIGR and in close collaboration with FAO, UNIDO and Accademia dei Georgofili, with the goal to convene, almost once a year, the highest international experts on mechanization in order to discuss subjects of a pre-eminent importance for the development of the agricultural machinery sector.
The main objective is to promote informatics in agriculture, forestry and food management in research, teaching and practice. This concerns the creation, evaluation and dissemination of theories, models, methods, tools and solutions for the analysis, design, use and operation of information systems for agriculture, forestry and food. The annual conference is intended to serve as a central meeting point for the generation and dissemination of knowledge and is aimed at teachers, students, users, experts and decision-makers in research, teaching, economics, administration and politics.
VDI Wissensforum has been a partner in continuing education for engineers and technical specialists and managers since 1957. With more than 2,600 congresses, conferences, technical forums, courses and seminars annually, the range covers almost every technical discipline. Soft skills and management complete the portfolio. Every year, more than 37,000 participants receive further training – with a recommendation rate of 96.5%. VDI Wissensforum works successfully with 5,000 speakers from industry and research and benefits from the knowledge transfer throughout the large network of VDI e.V.
As an experienced provider of continuing education, VDI Wissensforum is international, innovative and future-oriented. In the events of VDI Wissensforum, competencies and knowledge from a large variety of technical disciplines and topics are imparted with a high practical relevance.
The VDMA Power Transmission Engineering and Fluid Power Associations jointly represent the interests of major supplier industries in the mechanical engineering industry. We are the network for around 420 manufacturers of:

Both associations are integrated into VDMA e. V. – Mechanical Engineering Industry Association, the largest network organisation in Germany and Europe with more than 3,500 members. We offer our members exclusive services on relevant market information, national and international technology and standardization topics, trade fairs/events and precompetitive joint industrial research. In addition, the VDMA provides support on topics relating to foreign and national economics, law, taxes, environment and sustainability issues, as well as education.
