Solutions from Agricultural Engineering for Energy and Food Production
The 65th International Conference on Agricultural Engineering, LAND.TECHNIK AgEng2007 is held on 9 and 10 November in Hanover, as the prelude event to AGRITECHNICA, the most important agricultural engineering fair worldwide. Under the theme Engineering Solutions for Energy and Food Production the conference will deal with recent developments in these technical topics. Within the technical innovation background of AGRITECHNICA, current results of research and product development, as well as their general progress, will be presented to an international group of participants from the agricultural engineering sector. The conference program was prepared by a committee of members of the Max-Eyth-Society for Agricultural Engineering of the VDI (VDI-MEG) and the European Society of Agricultural Engineers (EurAgEng).The one and a half days event with 80 lectures covers the following topics: tractors, power train, mobile hydraulics, electronic and automation technology, soil protection, tillage and cultivation, crop protection and fertilisation, harvesting technology, field robotics and production of bio-energy.
