Animals

Can I bring my dog with me to the grounds?
No, visitors are not permitted to bring animals to the exhibition grounds.
 

Are there any animals on show at Agritechnica?
No, Agritechnica is purely for agricultural machinery (outdoor operations). Animals are presented at EuroTier, the DLG Exhibition for Animal Husbandry and Management (www.eurotier.de).

Children

Do children have to pay to visit Agritechnica?
Up until their 8th birthday, children accompanied by an adult can visit the exhibition free of charge; this also applies to the preview days. As of 8 years, children pay the reduced price of EUR 10.00 at the ticket office. On preview days, however, they are required to pay the full price.
 

Is there any child supervision available?
For children between 3 and 12 years of age, Agritechnica offers child supervision in the CC on all exhibition days.
 

What should I do if I lose my child in the crowd?
You should definitely note down your mobile telephone number and give this to your child. If, in spite of all precautions, you still get separated from your child, go to one of the information desk located in every hall. Here you will be told whether someone has found your child and where the pick-up point is.

Entrance, Preview days, Prices

How much is the entrance?
You will find the pricelist here...
 

Do I have to order my admission tickets in advance, or can I buy them on site?
You can book and print out tickets at home with your credit card using the home ticketing system. However, there are ticket offices in every entrance hall where you can purchase a ticket in cash, using your EC card or credit card.
 

Can I pay with my credit card?
Yes, our ticket offices accept most common credit cards such as VISA, MasterCard or AMEX as well as EC cards.
 

How much does it cost to visit the exhibition just on Sunday 11 November?
For this one day you will still need to purchase the “Preview PLUS” ticket at a price of EUR 69.00.
 

I have been given a VIP card by company XY. Can I use this to visit the exhibition on the preview days?
With a VIP card, you will get a 9,- EUR discount on the price of the “Preview PLUS” ticket when you purchase it at the ticket office. The VIP card does not entitle you to free entry on the preview days.
 

Who are the preview days intended for?
First and foremost for agricultural machinery traders, the specialist press and major customers.
 

Can I, as a “normal” visitor, come to Agritechnica on a preview day?
Yes, you can. The admission ticket “Preview PLUS” costs EUR 69.00 for the two preview days. In addition, this admission ticket also gives you free entry on Tuesday 13 November 2007.

Getting there, Accommodation

Which street name do I need to enter into my navigation system in order to get to the exhibition grounds?
If your navigation system does not accept “exhibition grounds” (Messegelände) enter “Hermesallee” if you are arriving from the south and “Kronsbergstrasse” if you are arriving from the north. You could also enter “Messe” under Special Target.
 

How can I get to Agritechnica by train?
Either on one of the special trains put on by our partner (cf. "Getting there"), or on a train with a special stop at Hannover Messe/Laatzen. You can find out about their timetable at www.bahn.de. Alternatively you could take a train from Hannover Central Station.
 

How do I get to Agritechnica from Hannover Central Station?
Take the tram line (Straßenbahn) no. 8, which takes about 20 minutes to reach the north entrance.
 

How do I get to Agritechnica from Messebahnhof Laatzen?
The “Skywalk”, a conveyor-belt bridge, enables you to access entrance West 1 quickly and comfortably from Messebahnhof Laatzen.
 

How do I get to the exhibition site from the airport?
The company BFM offers a demand-driven shuttle service to and from the exhibition site, entrance Nord 2. BFM operates a service to the exhibition site – entrance Nord 2 – from 7.15 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. and back from the grounds – leaving from Nord 1 – from 8.15 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. A one-way ticket costs EUR 8.00; a return ticket costs EUR 15.00. Transfer time: approx. 30 minutes.

Handicapped Visitors

Do handicapped visitors have to pay to visit Agritechnica?
From 13-17 November 2007, they can visit the exhibition at the reduced rate of EUR 10.00. On the preview days, the price is EUR 69.00. People accompanying wheelchair-users are not required to pay.
 

Are there any toilet facilities on site suitable for people with handicaps?
All toilets on the exhibition grounds have handicap toilets.
 

Can I rent a wheelchair at Agritechnica and, if so, what does it cost?
The medical services on the exhibition grounds have wheelchairs which can be borrowed free of charge on a daily basis. To avoid disappointment, it is advisable to inform Agritechnica Visitors’ Service in good time, so that a wheelchair can be reserved (Tel +49 (0)69 24 78 82 65). Alternatively, you could contact the medical services at Messe Hannover directly (Tel.+49 (0)511 30 03 0).

Where at Agritechnica can I find out about the latest innovations in the field of agricultural technology?
Innovations have their own stand at the exhibition in Hall 16, Stand no. D41. An expert is on hand to provide guided tours around the innovations stand several times a day. An AGRITECHNICA innovations magazine is to be published  detailing all of the innovations registered

Is there anywhere on the exhibition grounds where I can deposit a bag or suitcase?
You will find a cloakroom in every entrance area where you can deposit your bags or luggage as well (jackets/coats: EUR 1.50; EUR 2.00 for each item of luggage).

Opening times

At what times is the exhibition open to the visitor?
The opening times for visitors are from 9.00 a.m. through to 6.00 p.m.
 

What time can exhibitors enter the grounds?
Exhibitors with an Exhibitor’s Permanent Pass or Exhibitor’s Day Ticket can enter the grounds from 7.00 a.m. through to 8.00 p.m.

Parking spaces/Camper vans

How much does it cost to park for one day?
A car costs EUR 7.00,
a Sprinter van EUR 8.00,
busses and lorries EUR 12.00 a day
Car season ticket: EUR 48,16 EUR
 

Are there any spaces available for camper vans at the exhibition grounds?
The site for camper vans is located on Kronsbergstrasse. To find out more about the terms and conditions, please contact Ms. Bakker at the GfV (Gesellschaft für Verkehrsförderung – the company responsible for managing parking facilities. Tel. 0049 (0) 511 – 89 33 595.
