DLG President Carl-Albrecht Bartmer will open the symposium. In a series of lectures, statements and a panel discussion, experts from the fields of politics, business, academia such as Dr. Axel Stockmann, Head of the Department of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection at the German Embassy in Moscow, and Prof. Dr. Alfons Balmann, Director of the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Development in Central and Eastern Europe (IAMO), will be discussing whether the crisis can be seen as an opportunity.
