Your AGRITECHNICA Check List:

Have you remembered everything?

This check list is intended to help you to make your participation in the exhibition a success.

What has to be done:

Before closing date for stand applications (1. February):

  • Marketing data on Agritechnica will be sent to you with the registration papers
  • What does participation cost: rental prices
  • Before completing the rental application form, obtain information from the Exhibition Regulations
  • Simply log in online with OnlineService. This saves troublesome paperwork and gives you a status report on what you have ordered any time you want.
  • Please complete the stand rental application form (Pages 1, 2 and 4), sign and return. Page 3 is for co-exhibitors and additionally represented firms. Please ensure that you allocate your products correctly in the Exhibition Programme. Returning the stand rental application form means that you recognise the Exhibition Regulations.  
  • You will receive a confirmation of application, confirming receipt of your stand rental application. (Do not confuse this with the stand confirmation that you will receive at the beginning of May!)  
  • After returning the stand rental application, reserve hotel rooms (www.travel2fairs.com
  • We advise visitors who will need a visa to contact the German Embassy in their country in good time for this purpose.  
  • Do you have any suggestions for the technical programme?  
  • What subjects do you consider suitable, what speakers do you suggest? 
  • Please contact the relevant staff member (Project team, technical Programme).

After receiving stand confirmation (as of beginning of May):

  • Together with the stand confirmation you will receive the stand rental invoice, layout plan, Exhibition Regulations and service package offer. The folder of promotional materials will come at the end of May.  
  • Please note date for payment: at the latest 21 days after invoice date.  
  • Place order with stand construction firm: Order Form 5/ 5a of DLG, or another stand construction firm of your choice. You can find a list of stand construction firms under www.famab.de . Please provide your stand construction partner with the layout plan when placing your order and remind him to observe the Technical Guidelines of the Exhibition Regulations.
  • You will find technical data regarding the exhibition halls here  
  • Orders from the DLG's service package offer: as of the time you receive your stand confirmation you can place orders online via OnlineService or download the files as a pdf-file.
  • Regardless of the method you select, the following deadlines apply for submission:
  • Forge links with your customers, use the VIP tickets to invite business associates. Admission is gratis for your visitors. You only pay for tickets redeemed, at a special price.  
  • Draw your customers' attention to your participation in the exhibition. In the promotional materials folder you will find something for everyone. The folder will be sent to you at the end of May.  
  • If you have any questions on your catalogue entry contact Mr. Harms Mentzel (h.mentzel(at)dlg.org). Closing date for entries is 06 July 2009  
  • Would you like to place an advert in the official exhibition catalogue? Mr. Harms Mentzel (h.mentzel(at)dlg.org) will be pleased to make you an offer. Closing date for submissions - as for the catalogue entries - is 06 July 2009.  
  • Music presentations on your stand are liable to fees in Germany (including background music on videos). Please report details before the exhibition to the responsible organisation GEMA (www.gema.de). The GEMA inspectors will visit the exhibition and send you an invoice after the exhibition. Even if you possess the rights to the music, you will have to produce evidence of this.  
  • 6 weeks before the exhibition the exhibitors' season tickets for your stand staff will be sent to you. The number of free tickets is based on the size of your stand. If you require additional tickets, which will be billed, please order these in good time prior to the mailing date via OnlineService or use the Exhibitors - Season Ticket form in the booklet "Services offered".
  • Together with the tickets you will receive the leaflet "Important information for exhibitors", which answers specific questions regarding stand construction and exhibition operations.  
  • Do you need visitors' admission tickets to sell further? Our advance ticket sales unit (vorverkauf(at)dlg.orgvorverkauf(at)dlg.org) is available for you up to 29 October 2009.

During Agritechnica in Hanover

Start of construction:  2 November 2009

  • In each hall there is a hall inspector who is your direct contact person and will help you if you have any problems or questions. He is at your disposal every day from 7.00 to 19.00 h. 
  • Please keep to your stand dimensions. 
  • Do you have any valuable objects on your stand? Order a stand guard extra. The DLG only provides general hall guard services. 
  • The DLG recommends that you insure your exhibits and stand equipment. 
  • Empties can be placed in storage with Spedition Schenker.

End of construction: 7 November 2009, 18.00 h

  • Duration of Agritechnica 2009: General visitor days from 10 - 14 November 2009 (8 + 9 November: Preview days)  
  • Opening times for Agritechnica 2009 from 8 to 14 November: for exhibitors:7.00 - 20.00 h, for visitors:9.00 - 18.00 h, in special cases admission from 8.00 h also  
  • At the International Visitors’ Lounge you will obtain information about German and foreign delegations who have registered  
  • Opening celebration: Max-Eyth-Evening on 9 November 2009 in Hall 21. For invited guests only.  
  • At the start of the exhibition we shall supply all exhibitors with a questionnaire on their participation in Agritechnica 2009. Please complete this form. It will be collected on the last day of the exhibition.

Start of dismantling: 14 November 2009

  • No vehicles may drive into the ground before 20.00 h, since after the end of the exhibition the aisle carpets will first be removed and after this the exhibition forwarder will distribute the empties ordered. 
  • Secure your stand against theft if you do not dismantle it at once. Most thefts occur at the beginning of the dismantling period.

End of dismantling: 20 November 2009, 18.00 h.

After the exhibition:

  • Any criticism? Any trouble? Please tell us how we can improve matters. Write to us, telephone us or send us an e-mail (f.vonrhade(at)dlg.org). We should also be happy to receive any praise.   
  •  The first results of the survey of visitors and exhibitors will be sent to you directly after the exhibition.

  • Next exhibition dates: Agritechnica 2011 from 13 - 19 November 2011. Dispatch of stand application papers starts in November 2010.
