Cities with attractive hotel facilities in the environs of Hanover

Many cities in the environs of Hanover also have extensive hotel facilities. Travel to AGRITECHNICA is no problem as the region has excellent transport infrastructure that is enhanced by the following offers:

The German rail company (Deutsche Bahn) offers special stops directly at the exhibition station (Hannover Messe/Laatzen) for trains coming from the north and south during AGRITECHNICA. However, these stops will only be shown on the Deutsche Bahn website at the earliest three months before the dates of travel.

Our partner, BFM, offers a shuttle bus service to the Exhibition Grounds from selected hotels in Braunschweig and Wolfsburg.

Bremen
From Bremen Central Station a train takes you in about 80 to 90 minutes to the Exhibition Station Laatzen. From here the Skywalk takes you quickly and comfortably directly to the entrance West 1.
Hamburg
From Hamburg Central Station a train takes you in about 80 to 90 minutes to the Exhibition Station Laatzen. From here the Skywalk takes you quickly and comfortably directly to entrance West 1.
Uelzen
From Uelzen you need about 50 minutes by train to the Exhibition Station Laatzen. From here the Skywalk takes you quickly and comfortably directly to the entrance West 1. For further information and tips on restaurants please click here!
Celle
From Celle you can reach the Exhibition Station Laatzen in just about half an hour. From here the Skywalk takes you quickly and comfortably directly to the entrance West 1.
Wolfsburg
From selected hotels in Wolfsburg you can take the exclusive BFM Shuttle Service directly to the exhibition. To reach the Exhibition Grounds by public transport, take an ICE/IC train which will bring you to Hanover Central Station (Hannover Hauptbahnhof) in about 33 minutes and from there take the urban railway line (Stadtbahn) route 8 or 18 on to the Exhibition Grounds.
Hannover
If you are travelling from Hanover Central Station, urban railway line (Stadtbahn) route 8 will take you to the Exhibition Grounds in 18 minutes. At the Central Station follow the blue “U” signs. A single fare costs € 2.20 (adult).
Braunschweig
From selected hotels in Braunschweig you can take the exclusive BFM Shuttle Service directly to the exhibition. To reach the Exhibition Grounds by public transport, take an IC train which will bring you to Hanover Central Station (Hannover Hauptbahnhof) in about 33 minutes and from there take the urban railway line (Stadtbahn) route 8 or 18 on to the Exhibition Grounds. Hildesheim
The urban railway line (S-Bahn) route 4 runs from Hildesheim (Stop: Hildesheim Hbf – Central Station) and takes just 22 minutes to bring you directly to the Exhibition Station.
Göttingen
An ICE train from Göttingen Station takes you to the Exhibition Station in just 27 minutes. From here the Skywalk takes you quickly and comfortably directly to the entrance West 1.
Kassel
From the Train Station Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe you can take an ICE which gets you to the Exhibition Station in just 47 minutes. From here the Skywalk takes you quickly and comfortably directly to the entrance West 1.

The train journey from Lüneburg Central Station to the Exhibition Station Laatzen takes about one hour. From here the Skywalk takes you quickly and comfortably directly to the entrance West 1.
Hameln
The train journey from Hameln Central Station to the Exhibition Station Laatzen takes 50 minutes. From here the Skywalk takes you quickly and comfortably directly to the entrance West 1.
Goslar
The train journey from Goslar Central Station to the Exhibition Station Laatzen takes 70 minutes. From here the Skywalk takes you quickly and comfortably directly to the entrance West 1.
Bielefeld
The train journey from Bielefeld Central Station to the Exhibition Station Laatzen takes 60 minutes. From here the Skywalk takes you quickly and comfortably directly to the entrance West 1.
