Excellent participation in Agritechnica 2009


The organiser DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft – German Agricultural Society) reports that over 1,850 exhibitors from 40 countries have already booked stands at Agritechnica including 300 new exhibitors. Dr. Jochen Köckler, Managing Director of the DLG Exhibitions Department, points out that despite the current difficult situation on most of the world’s agricultural market, these encouraging figures have already reached the same level as those of the record event two years ago.

Preview the World’s Biggest Farm Machinery Show in Canada


The Agritechnica 2009 team is pleased to invite agricultural leaders, decision-makers, and farming experts to an exclusive show preview, taking place at the Western Canada Farm Progress Show on June 17 at 9:30 a.m. in Salon 3, Brandt Centre at EVRAZ Place in Regina.

Agritechnica 2009 presented at Cereals

Agritechnica 2009 is presented at the UK Cereals arable event in Cambridgeshire from on 10 and 11 June. There, British and other European arable experts with their great demand for the latest and most efficient machinery can preview the world’s largest specialist agricultural equipment show. International specialist visitors at Agritechnica topped 300,000 at the last event and exhibitors flocked to the Hanover site in Germany from all over the world with a strong British presence. Already this year over 20 stand holders from the UK have registered for Agritechnica.

World Soil and Water Show at Agritechnica


A global perspective on soil and water use will be the central theme for a new practical area at this year’s Agritechnica show in Hanover. The World Soil and Water Show will include presentations and demonstrations of innovative tillage and water deployment strategies for farmers across the globe.

Continued investment despite challenging conditions


Agritechnica Preview highlights latest DLG Trendmonitor results. Eastern European farmers cautious - but other countries plan machinery expansion despite medium-term uncertainties. Willingness to invest in agricultural machinery and farm developments remains steady in Europe, according to latest DLG Trendmonitor results presented to experts attending the Agritechnica 2009 Previews in Sweden and France in May.

DLG and AEM announce long-term alliance


DLG (German Agricultural Society), the organizer of Agritechnica, the world's largest agriculture machinery show, and the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), organizer of the new agricultural trade show AG CONNECT Expo, today announced a long-term alliance. The alliance includes a plan to coordinate show dates that will allow agriculture producers to attend a major international agriculture trade show each year.

Italian agricultural equipment sector upbeat about opportunities at the world’s largest farm machinery show - Agritechnica


Italy’s agricultural machinery manufacturers and its vast components sector remain optimistic about the agricultural industry. Both implement maker, Maschio Gaspardo, and component supplier, AMA, two of the biggest players in their respective sectors, are increasing their presence at Agritechnica to reach even more customers.

Chinese ministry confirms importance of world’s largest farm equipment exhibition


Chinese farm equipment subsidies are to increase 300 percent to 1.46 billion US dollars this year with targets including doubling of mechanisation in the country’s rice harvest within five years. A special Preview in Beijing heard that momentum like this underlines the crucial importance of Agritechnica, the world’s biggest farm mechanisation event, as shop window, discussion platform and world meeting place for agricultural investors from expanding farming sectors in countries such as China.
