Getting there, Accommodation
What road names do I need to enter into my navigation system in order to reach the Exhibition Grounds?
If your navigation system does not accept "Messegelände" (Exhibition Grounds), enter "Kronsbergstrasse" if you are travelling from the south and "Hermesallee" if you are travelling from the north. You can also enter "Messe" (fair) under special sites.
How can I get to Agritechnica by train?
Either with one of the special trains operated by our partners (information on special trains available here as of September 2009), or with one of the trains that stops especially at Hanover Messe/Laatzen. You can look up the times of departure at www.bahn.de. Alternatively you can travel by train to Hanover Central Station and then on to the Exhibition Grounds by tram line 8 or 18 up to Entrances Nord 1 and 2. (cf. "Getting there")
How do I get to Agritechnica from Hannover Central Station?
By tram line 8 or 18. It takes approx. 20 minutes up to Entrance Nord.
How do I get to AGRITECHNICA from the exhibition station Laatzen?
From the Messebahnhof Laatzen station take the "Skywalk", a covered bridge with moving walkway, to Entrance West 1.
How do I get to the Exhibition Grounds from the airport?
A shuttle service is operated as required between the airport and the Exhibition Grounds, entrance West 1. The shuttle bus leaves for the Exhibition Grounds from 7.15 h to 16.00 h. The return from the Exhibition Grounds - entrance West 1 - runs from 8.15 h to 18.30 h. A single trip costs € 8.00, a round trip € 15.00. The transfer takes about half an hour in each direction.

DLG Members
May I visit the exhibition free of charge with my membership card on Sunday (first Preview Day)?
No. Members only have free admission to the exhibition as of Monday (9 November), the second Preview Day.
May I bring a second person with me?
Yes, free admission applies for two persons.
How many days can I visit the exhibition?
As of Monday, 9 November, you have free admission for two persons to the exhibition on two days of your choice.
I have lost my DLG membership card. What should I do?
You can request a new DLG membership card up to two weeks before AGRITECHNICA from the membership service in Frankfurt, Tel.: 069 24788 205 or from mitgliederservice@dlg.org. A replacement membership card can be issued at the DLG information stand at every entrance to AGRITECHNICA.
Where can I pick up my free catalogue?
Up to two weeks before the exhibition you can order the exhibition catalogue from DLG-Mitgliederservice, Tel.: 069 24 788-205 or by email from mitgliederservice@dlg.org. The catalogue is then sent to you. At the Exhibition Grounds you can collect the catalogue at any DLG information stand at the entrances and at the DLG Expert Center or at the stands of DLG-Verlag.

How much does a ticket to Agritechnica cost?
You will find the pricelist here...
Do I have to order admission tickets in advance or can I buy them at the Exhibition Grounds?
You can obtain the tickets from your desk at home as of September using the Hometicketing-System, pay by credit card and print the tickets out yourself. However, you can also buy admission tickets at the ticket desks at every entrance, paying by cash, EC card or credit card.
Can I pay for my admission tickets by credit card too?
Yes, the cash desks accept the standard credit cards such as VISA, Master or AMEX as well as EC cards.
How much does an admission ticket cost on Sunday, the first Preview Day?
On this day you need the Preview Days PLUS admission ticket which costs € 75.-. The ticket also allows admission on 9 and 10 November 2009.
For whom are the AGRITECHNICA Preview Days meant?
Primarily for the agricultural machinery trade, the trade press and large-scale customers.
Can I as a "normal" visitor visit AGRITECHNICA on the Preview Days?
Yes, you can. The admission ticket Preview Days PLUS for the two Preview Days costs € 75.-. This ticket also allows you free admission on Tuesday, 10/11/2009.
I have received a VIP ticket from Messrs. XY. Can I visit the exhibition on the Preview Days with this too?
A VIP ticket gives you a reduction of € 9.- on the price of the Preview Day PLUS ticket at the cash desk. The VIP ticket does not allow you any free admission on the Preview Days.

Children
Is admission to AGRITECHNICA free for children?
Children accompanied by adults have free admission to the exhibition up to their 8th birthday, on the Preview Days too. Children aged 8 and more pay the same price as students, € 10.-, at the cash desk, and on the Preview Days the full price.
Can I leave my child to be looked after somewhere?
There is an AGRITECHNICA child care service for children between the ages of 3 and 12 at the Convention Center (CC) on all the exhibition days.
What do I do if my child gets lost in the crowds?
You should always provide your child with an AGRITECHNICA -Kid key strap. If you lose sight of your child, this will help you to find it quickly again. There is a plastic folder on the key strap. You will be given a card to complete and insert in this. Note your child's name and your mobile phone number on the card and insert it in the plastic folder. There is also a tear-off strip on the card with the most important telephone numbers and information concerning children at AGRITECHNICA. This strip is for you. Please tear it off and keep it for emergencies. If your child becomes lost in the flow of visitors you can contact our Child Hotline straightaway. The Kid key strap is available free at the DLG stand at each entrance and at the AGRITECHNICA information stands in the halls.

Disabled persons
Is admission to AGRITECHNICA free for people with disabilities?
You can visit the exhibition at a reduced entrance price of € 10.- from 10 - 14/11/2009. The price of € 75.- applies on the Preview Days (ticket valid for 8 -10/11/2009). Admission is generally free for one person accompanying a visitor in a wheelchair.
Are there toilets suitable for disabled persons at the Exhibition Grounds?
All toilets at the Exhibition Grounds have facilities for disabled persons
Is it possible to rent a wheelchair at AGRITECHNICA and what does this cost?
Wheelchairs - including electronic wheelchairs - can be borrowed for a day free of charge at the Sanitätsstelle (Paramedic Center). If required please register early at the Sanitätsstelle of the Hanover Exhibition Grounds (Messe Hannover - Tel. +49 (0)511 30 030).
There is special transfer service that takes disabled persons from the car park to the Exhibition Grounds. If you wish to use this service please call the service directly (Tel. +49 (0) 511 8933900).

From when to when is the exhibition open for visitors?
The opening times for visitors are from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
From when do exhibitors have access to the Exhibition Grounds?
Exhibitors with an exhibitor season ticket or exhibitor day ticket have access to the grounds from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Animals
May I take my dog into the Exhibition Grounds?
No. Visitors are not allowed to bring animals into the Exhibition Grounds.
Are there any animals on show at Agritechnica?
No, Agritechnica is an exhibition solely for agricultural machinery (arable farming). Animals are shown at EuroTier, the DLG exhibition for animal husbandry and management (www.eurotier.de).
